The state redistricting plan, McGill said, will only affect four voting precincts – Cerulean/Wallonia, North Cadiz No. 2, Linton/Maggie and Bethesda. McGill went on to say that all of these precincts moved from District Eight, which Representative John Tilley (D) represents, to District Five, which Representative Kenny Imes (R) represents.
“They didn’t split precincts, they just moved whole precincts into those new lines,” said McGill. “I have to go back and make sure that the reapportionment … that those lines are proper. I don’t anticipate any great problems, but there may be a line or two that have to be moved, just as far as precincts are concerned, maybe a road change here or there.”
