Funeral services for Arvillia Durham Booth, 87, of Cadiz, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church. The Revs. Allan Stokes, Sr., and Danny Mitcheson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation is scheduled after 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, and from 9 – 10 a.m. on Friday at the Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Arvillia Booth died of natural causes at 10:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at her home.

She was born on May 12, 1926, in Kingsport, Tenn., to Emery and Bessie Durham.

Arvillia was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bascom S. Booth; one brother and four sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Probizanski of Cadiz; three sons, Charles “Jr.” Booth (and wife Jan) of Hampshire, Ill., David S. Booth (and wife Sandra) of Alvin, Texas and William Wayne Booth of Cadiz; ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Trauth, Stephen Trauth, Bret Trauth, Mike Booth, Richard Booth and Robert Smith. Music will be provided by Nancy Fink, Marcella Gill, Donna Hanberry, Tina Fink, Joy and Allan Stokes, Sr. Memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church, P.O. Box 1403, Cadiz, KY 42211.
