CROSS COUNTRY: Trigg teams perform well in Fenton Dawson Invitational

Trigg County’s cross country team hosted the annual Fenton Dawson Invitational on Saturday at the recreation complex.

Trigg’s high school boys finished in first place over Dawson Springs. Wildcat runners were:

Austin Pugh, fourth, 20:17.5; J.B. Hendricks, fifth, 20:39.7; Matthew Chinn, sixth, 20:54.4; Ethan Dossett, seventh, 20:57.1; John Chinn, 10th, 22:15.4; Qyntevis WIlcox, 11th, 22:52.3; Caleb Martin, 15th, 23:14.5; Daniel Martin, 19th, 23:36.8.

Clarksville Northwest’s Walter Leslie was the individual winner, and Christian County, Christian Fellowship and Lyon County also competed.

Trigg’s high school girls finished second overall behind Dawson Springs. ‘Cat runners were:

Rylee Bush, second, 24:25.3; Gracie Hill, ninth, 27:21.3; Bethany Morgan, 10th, 27:37.3; Libby Redd, 11th, 27:53.4; Paige Dunn, 17th, 29:48.8; Celestia West, 19th, 30:32.3; Koryn Hatfield, 21st, 31:43.3; Heather Hall, 23rd, 32:55.1; Morgan Hendricks, 24th, 34:38.7.
