Trigg County notched its first Class 3A 1st District win Friday, topping Webster County 49-0 in Dixon.

The Wildcats (4-3, 1-0 district) dominated play throughout, limiting the Trojans (1-6, 0-1) to 84 yards of total offense while racking up 415 of their own.

Brandon Wilson had the first scoring play of the night, a 12-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Luke McKenzie. Jayven Jones followed with back-to-back touchdown runs, one for three yards and the other for 91.

Reggie Radford scored the next two touchdowns, first on a 60-yard punt return and then on a 51-yard catch at the end of the first half. Skylar Pool caught a 29-yard touchdown to enact the running-clock rule midway through the third quarter, and Raekwon Stubblefield added a 60-yard touchdown run to round out the scoring.

Jones finished with 147 yards on 10 carries. McKenzie completed six of 10 passes for 137 yards, and Tyreak Wilson completed all three of his attempts for 50 yards, including two to McKenzie. Radford had three catches for 66 yards.
