Marjorie Higgins died of natural causes at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at Sterling House in Clarksville, Tenn.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1927, in Golden Pond to Joseph F. and Mary Matheny Higgins.
Marjorie retired after 43 years with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. She was a member of Trenton Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Russell Higgins.
She is survived by two brothers, Randal Higgins of Hopkinsville and Jerry Higgins (and wife Charlotte) of Clarksville, Tenn.; one sister, Shirley Woods (and husband Clyde) of Trenton; nephews Russ, Will and Christopher Higgins; nieces Lelye Isaacs, Lydia Higgins Meredith, Donna Woods Brown and Jennifer Higgins Rudolph.
Serving as pallbearers were Russ Higgins, Will Higgins, John Ross Rudolph, Jeffrey Bard, Frank K. Brown, Christopher Higgins and Blake Bard.
