The Janice Mason Art Museum is pleased to present Home Making: Wooden Miniatures by Pink “Tiny” Guier and Quilts by Tish Rudd, on view Oct. 22 – Nov. 30, 2013. The public is invited to a reception for the exhibit on Friday, Oct. 25, from 6 – 8 p.m.

Renowned Cadiz craftsman Pink “Tiny” Guier, who passed away in 2008, crafted miniature wooden replicas of Trigg County buildings, exceptional for their painstaking detail and their documentation of the region. Many of the buildings will be on display for the first time in this exhibit.

Tish Rudd joined the Trigg County Quilt Guild soon after moving to Lake Barkley and quickly became interested in designing her own quilts. Her quilt Baskets, Butterflies, and Blossoms was a finalist in the National Quilt Museum’s “New Quilts from an Old Favorite Contest.”
