LBL holding ‘Fall Frolic’ next weekend

Enjoy the changing colors and cooling temperatures at Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area, when you celebrate the fall season at Woodlands Nature Station Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.

Fall Frolic features a variety of fall nature events and fun filled activities, including hayrides and live music.

“Bring the whole family to enjoy the fall weather and participate in a variety of planned outdoor programs and activities,” said Carrie Szwed, Public Programs Coordinator at Nature Station.

Grab your sweater and enjoy an old-fashioned wagon ride through the woods. These 30-minute hayrides are $2 per person and leave regularly throughout the day, 10a.m.-4p.m.. Limited seating--sign up at Nature Station that day.

Staff-led rides include fun learning activities and great nature-viewing with a musical twist! Smokey Bear will make scheduled appearances throughout Fall Frolic.
