Jackie Hyde died on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
Jackie Hyde was retired from the Cadiz Water Department with 25 years and he was also in the grocery business for several years. He was a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church.
Jackie was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wallace Woodrow Hyde and Addie Lee Hyde; two brothers, Wallace Hyde and Jimmy Hyde; and one sister, Betty Hyde.
Jackie is survived by his wife, Loretta McKinney Hyde of Cadiz; one brother, Bobby Hyde (and wife Kathy) of Cadiz; one sister, Nancy Fox (and husband Deon) of Princeton; one son, Michael Hyde (and wife Clara Beth); one daughter, Missy Sowell (and husband Mark), all of Cadiz; five grandchildren, Mason, Reagan, and Gentry Hyde, Hannah and Hayley Sowell; and two sisters-in-law, Martha Hyde and Ruby Hyde, both of Cadiz.
Serving as active pallbearers were David Hyde, Rex Hyde, Paul Hyde, James Hyde, Brian Hyde, Barry Fox, Wayne Hyde and Josh Holley. Music was provided by Suzanne Henry, vocalist and Clay King, pianist.
