Willard died on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013. He was born on Nov. 30, 1943, in Trigg County to the late Jagoe and Lois Barnes Adams.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served two tours in Viet Nam and one in Germany. On July 16, 1972, he married the love of his life, Linda Katers. He retired after 30 years of employment at Green Bay Packaging Coated Products Division in Green Bay, Wisc.
Dale was a humble man that enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and going to the casino. He was a fan and stockholder of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed Kentucky and Badger basketball. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Guy, Adrian and Lacey Adams (and wife Joann); brothers-in-law, R.C. Thomas and Carl Edward Overby; and parents-in-law, Merlin and Irene Katers.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Adams; brother, Dexter Adams of Cadiz; sisters Margie Thomas of Hopkinsville, Nancy Ferguson (and husband Charles) of Eddyville, Venice Overby of Princeton, and Margaret P’Pool (and husband James) of Princeton; daughters, Jessica Fritz (and husband Brian) of Platteville, Wisc. and Sheryl Goforth of Cadiz; grandchildren, Madelyn, Colin and Connor Fritz, Angel Brown, Alisha Runyon, Jontaea Anderson and Kendra Nelson; great-grandchildren, Zoe and Ashlen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Butch Katers (and wife Judy), Debbie Friedl (and husband David), Tom Katers (and wife Bonnie) all of Green Bay, Wisc., and Myra Dean Bush of Cadiz; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
