Edward Joiner died on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at his home in Wallonia.
Mr. Joiner had worked as a truck driver with Henderson Moorefield in Hopkinsville and he was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Claude Joiner and Lila Lee Hancock Joiner; four brothers, Charlie Joiner, Raymond Joiner, James Ray Joiner and Ches Joiner; one sister Fib Johnson; two sons, Dickie Dean Joiner and Stanley Wayne “Waynie Bug” Joiner; and one daughter, Serilda Jayne Joiner.
He is survived by his wife Eva Sanders Joiner of Wallonia; one brother, O’Neal Joiner (and wife Helen); four sisters, Pauline and Fred Aldridge, Sara Irwin, Wanda and Shelby Roberts, and Clara Mae and Bill Gillett, all of Hopkinsville; one son, Jeffrey Scott Joiner (and wife Pamela) of Dover, Tenn. one daughter, Brenda Lee Joiner of Wallonia; six grandchildren, Jared Wayne Joiner, Misty Hardin, Cambrane Scott Joiner, Kandice Blair Joiner, Kayla DeShea Joiner and Shelby Suiter; four great-grandchildren, Aydan Lee Joiner, Ezashia Lynn Jones, Elianna Emora-Shae Jones and Elijah Eric Evan Jones.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Joiner, Jeff Joiner, Kendall Irwin, Kenny Bridges, Joe Miller and Stacey Woods. Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Higgs, Charlie Kennedy, Randy Wallace and Howard Joiner.
