Three more public officials in Trigg County have filed to run for re-election since Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander (D) filed to run for a full term. He filled the remainder of Stan Humphries’ (R) term – which started in January 2011 – after Humphries was elected last November as the new District One State Senator.

Meanwhile, another magistrate on the Trigg County Fiscal Court has filed to run. District One Magistrate Mike Wright (D) filed for another four-year term on Monday. He joins District Four Magistrate Jeff Broadbent (D), who filed two weeks ago, and District Seven Magistrate Donnie Tyler (D), who filed last Monday.
