Trigg County Middle School’s wrestling team hosted a tournament Saturday at the Trigg County High School gym.

Wrestlers from nine schools competed for top honors. Trigg County placed third as a team, trailing only Union County (first place) and Calloway County (second).

Trigg individual finishers in their respective weight classes include: Colin Stevens, 121 pounds, first place; Ethan Futrell, 80, second; Tayshaun Barker, 86, second; Isaac Aguiar, 92, second; Matt Livingson, 121, third; John Chinn, 70, fourth; Justin Crabtree, 130, fourth; Caleb Haslett, 113, fifth; Keegan Sloan, 75, seventh. he Trigg County Midcats will return to competition on Dec. 10 when they host Paducah and University Heights.
