Chapter 1730 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) met on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the Cadiz Senior Center.

President Richard Pauze conducted the meeting. Jim Mustian offered the invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Minutes and Treasurer’s Report were approved as read.

Jim Mustian reported that he learned at the recent NARFE District Meeting - that federal retirees covered by Blue Cross/Blue Shield could go online to and complete a health assessment questionnaire.

They will receive individualized information about actions they can take to improve their health and manage health needs. Completing the questionnaire will earn a $35 debit card that can be used toward drug co-pays. Completing additional online counseling sessions can earn more drug co-pay credits.
