Cindy Sholar of the Cadiz-Trigg County Chamber of Commerce hopes to have well over 30 floats for the annual Cadiz Christmas Parade, set to take place Saturday evening.

The parade, as always, will start at 6 p.m. at the Trigg County Middle School parking lot, will take a right on Lafayette Street, took another right on Midway Street, will go right down on Main Street and will end at West Cadiz Park.

Sholar, who said there were about 30 entries last year, went on to say that the parade is a tradition that spans several decades, care of the Chamber.

Last year, Trigg County Veternary Clinic won first place, Word of Hope Church won second place and West Kentucky Mowing won third place.
