As late as Thursday, National Weather Service officials predicted half an inch or even ¾ of an inch of ice. A mixture of ice, snow and slush resulted in closings, cancellations and delays but few injuries.
Sergeant Scott Brown of the Cadiz Police Department said they responded to one minor accident over the weekend. Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam said they responded to more than a few people running off the road, but only one accident that he knows of resulted in even a minor injury.

Brent Gilkey of Pennyrile Electric said 69 customers in Trigg County faced outages this weekend.
