Delvin Rajnowski died on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, at the VA Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
Delvin was born on Sept. 26, 1941 in Drayton, N.D., to Joseph and Mabel Rousseau Rajnowski. He served in the United States Navy as an Air Controller. Delvin worked at Northwestern Steel and Wire in Rock Falls, Ill., for 33 years as a millwright.
He married Patsy Broussard on May 27, 1962, in New Iberia, La. Delvin was a member of the Rock Falls and Hopkinsville Eagles Club, and the Rock Falls American Legion. He was also a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Cadiz and a past member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mabel Rajnowski.
Delvin Rajnowski is survived by his wife, Patsy Rajnowski of Cadiz; one sister Sharon Tintori (and husband Fred) of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Merlin Rajnowski (and wife Connie) of Rock Falls, Ill.; two daughters, Pamela Heller (and husband Rory) of Mahomet, Ill. and Kimberly McWhorter (and husband Eric) of Chicago, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Rachel Heller, Kyle Heller and Jett McWhorter.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary Memorial Fund, 218 Canton Lakeshore Drive, Cadiz, KY 42211.
