Morris “C.T.” Jones died on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at his home in Cadiz.
Mr. Jones was retired from Johnson Controls, Inc. and had operated a family farm operation raising tobacco and dairy livestock. He was a member of Delmont Baptist Church and was a United States Army World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Jones; his parents, Ralph Taylor Jones and Nola Pearl McWaters Jones; two brothers, Morris Dewayne Jones and Donnie G. Jones; and two sisters, Lois Gillebeau and Mary Dobbins.
Mr. Jones in survived by one brother, Lynn Jones of Cadiz; two sisters, Leta Gray of Princeton and Ernestine Hendricks Murray; two sons, Randall Jones (and wife Lisa) of Hermitage, Tenn. and Ricky Jones (and wife Penny) of Cadiz; two daughters, Delpha Bailey (and husband Larry) of Hopkinsville and Donna McNichols of Cadiz; 12 grandchildren, Josh Bailey, Todd Bailey, Jimmy McNichols, Tatum Gilbert, Caitlin Jones, Mathew Jones, Kayla Phillips, Kimberly Gilliland, Summer Bolton, David Bolton, Jared Bolton and John Mark Bolton; nine great-grandchildren, Riley Bailey, Ryan Bailey, Preston Bailey, Mylee Jones, Reed Phillips, Tenley Gilbert, Madison McNichols, MacKayla Phillips and Peyton Phillips.
Serving as active pallbearers will be George Humphries, Josh Bailey, Todd Bailey, Mathew Jones, Aaron Gilliland, Todd Gilbert and Matthew Phillips. Music will be provided by Becky Waldrup.
