That was what Trigg County Judge Executive Hollis Alexander said after Monday evening’s Trigg County Fiscal Court meeting. Magistrates voted unanimously on a $41,754 generator from Cadiz-based Twin Lakes Electric LLC – the only bidder on the generator.
“It will depend on how long it takes the generator to get here and get it in place,” said Alexander. “I’ve been told it’s about an 11-week wait time after we order it.”
Currently, the dispatch office is in the basement of the nearby Trigg County Sheriff’s Office building. Alexander said the TSCO is running out of room and that the move will be an opportunity for 9-1-1 to update some of their equipment.
