Janet James, HR director for Trigg County Hospital, said it will be an eight-week challenge with a weigh-out on Monday, March 10. As far as prizes and rules are concerned, it will be the same as previous years, James added.
“We are excited about the focus on health and weight-loss,” said James. “We’d like to see 100-plus people participate this year!”
The competition is hosted by Trigg County Hospital, WKDZ and Hancock’s Neighborhood Market. As in previous years, teams will compete for their share of prize money, and awards will be given for Overall Biggest Loser, Overall Team Loser and Overall Loser Male or Female, whichever is the opposite gender of the overall winner, James said.
