Trigg County’s girls basketball team remains winless in the 5th District after losses to Livingston Central on Friday and Crittenden County on Monday.

Last week, Trigg received confirmation that starting guard Jakashea Martin will miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

Friday, the Lady Wildcats kept the score close in the first quarter but fell victim to a 21-8 run in the second and never got their offense going consistently.

Mallory Mize was the only Trigg player in double figures with 17 points.

Monday, it was more of the same for the Lady ‘Cats as the offense continued to struggle and the defense couldn’t keep Crittenden off the scoreboard.

Mize led Trigg again with 18 points.
