BASKETBALL: Sheriff’s Department to play hoops against kids at The Way

The Way Christian Youth Ministry, temporarily located at the Cadiz Baptist Annex at 82 Main Street, hosted its first ever 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on Friday.

Eight teams (four middle and four high school) participated not just for bragging rights with peers, but for an opportunity to play against the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department at 5 p.m. this Friday at the Annex. The games are open to the public.

First and second place teams qualifying to play the Sheriff’s Department are as follows: Middle School, first place, Tyson Bush, Kirome Bingham and Conner Barnes; second place, Graham Futrell, Trevor Cortner and Riley Stallons. High School, first place, Jarrad Butler, Colton Phillips and Quintavious Wilcox; second place, Curtis Faughn, Chris Hendricks and Hayden Groves.
