Thelma Crisp died following a long illness at 10:38 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at her home.
Thelma Crisp was born on July 12, 1925, in Trigg County to Terry Boyd and Nellie Kirby Boyd.
She was a member of Princeton Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Hopson Crisp; two sisters, Lucy Dean Cain and Dorothy Nell Wilcox; one nephew David Earl Wilcox; and one niece Vickie Jo Wilcox.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Choate of Princeton; two sons, James Dennis Crisp (and wife Carolyn) of Princeton and Gary Hopson Crisp (and wife Angela) of Springhill, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Teri Cavender of Columbia, Tenn., Jennifer French of Princeton, Michael Crisp of Weston, Fla. and Bryan Crisp; 11 great grandchildren Isabella, Winston, Max and Virginia Cavender, Madison, Makenzie and Macy French, Landon, Hailey, Hannah and Sadie Crisp.
