Cadiz-Trigg County Planning Commission Chairman Bob Brame hopes to present their new comprehensive plan to the Trigg County Fiscal Court and Cadiz City Council between May and July.

At their meeting last Tuesday evening, Brame said he expects this plan to cost between $10,000 and $13,000. He further stated that such plans have cost communities of similar sizes $23,000 and $40,000.

“And I’m hoping to get it under $10,000,” said Brame. “We will be reimbursed. Hollis has told me to do it the best we can, get us the best plan we can, and be frugal. And that’s what I’m trying to do.”

The county and city governments will reimburse the Planning Commission for the costs associated with this study, said Brame. However, he suspected that the county will contribute more than the city.
