Trigg County High School’s boys and girls basketball teams each had a game postponed due to weather earlier this week. The Lady Wildcats were set to host Hopkins County Central for Senior Night on Monday, and the Wildcats were to travel to Logan County on Tuesday. Neither game had been rescheduled as of press time.

Weather also prevented the teams from getting to the high school gym for practice either day.

The Wildcats’ only game in the last week was a 60-56 overtime win Friday at Union County.

Trigg trailed by six after the first quarter but chipped away at the gap and, trailing by four entering the fourth, outscored the Braves 17-13 to force overtime,

Cole Gardner led the ‘Cats with 29 points and was joined in double figures by Luke McKenzie, who had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
