Trigg County High School’s wrestling team had solid showings last Tuesday at Ohio County and Saturday at Fort Knox.

Last Tuesday, Trigg won 44-30 over Owensboro Apollo and topped dual match host Ohio County 43-30.

Winning both of their matches for Trigg were Devante Turner, Justin Crabtree, Daniel Ingram, Ryan Gallogly, Malik Cunningham, Warren Jones and Aaron Stevens. Winning one match each were Maurice Catlett and Kyler Bohn.

“That was the best I’ve seen our teams wrestle in a long time,” Trigg head coach Ralph Stevens said.

Saturday, Trigg finished 10th out of 23 teams in tournament action at Fort Knox. Ingram and Gallogly each finished fourth in their weight class.
