Trigg County High School’s boys and girls basketball teams will not reschedule games that were canceled due to last week’s winter weather.

Trigg schools were closed Feb. 3-7, forcing the girls team to miss two games – Feb. 3 against Hopkins County Central and Feb. 6 at Fulton City – and the boys team to miss three – Feb. 3 at Logan County, Feb. 6 at McCracken County and Feb. 8 against Hopkinsville. The teams were also unable to practice during that stretch.

That means the teams have only a handful of games and available practice days remaining before the start of the 5th District Tournament on Monday, Feb. 24 at Crittenden County.

The Lady Wildcats won 64-37 at Christian Fellowship on Monday (story on page B2), and the Wildcats were scheduled to play Tuesday at Dawson Springs (results unavailable at press time).
