Two Cadiz-based artists will be participating this year at Kentucky Crafted: The Market.

Curran Copeland, owner of Sweet Sawdust, and Ken Roberts, owner of Ken’s Fish Market, will be at the annual art show March 7 - 9.

Kentucky Crafted: The Market is the Kentucky Arts Council’s annual fine art and craft showcase featuring thousands of handcrafted items created by the Commonwealth’s best artists. The show also includes music on the Kentucky Stage, Kentucky publishers, artisanal food producers, hands-on activities, special exhibits and more. Exhibitor sales at last year’s Market totaled more than $1 million. The event generated an additional $1 million in related spending during its three days in Lexington.

Kentucky Crafted: The Market is March 7-9 at the Lexington Convention Center. March 7 is open exclusively to wholesale buyers and closed to the general public, but media are welcome. Doors are open March 8-9 to the general public.

Information for this staff report was contributed by Alex Newby, media contact for Kentucky Crafted: The Market.
