District Three Magistrate Jon Goodwin wants more specific and timely information about Trigg County Hospital’s finances than he feels is usually conveyed.

On Tuesday morning, Goodwin sent an Open Records request to Trigg County Hospital Chief Executive Officer Alisa Coleman for more specific financial information, citing the Kentucky Open Records Act and KRS 61.870-61.884. As part of the KORA, she has three business days to respond. But in the letter, he asks for the complete list of information in that time frame, not just a response.

“The following list of documents should be very easy to produce,” Goodwin writes.

Specifically, Goodwin is asking for a complete, up-to-date aging, report of all accounts receivable and a complete, up-to-date, aging report by payee of all accounts payable, both as of Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Goodwin also wants a summary of the current contract between Trigg County Hospital and QHR (Quorum Health Resources), the Brentwood, Tenn., firm that audits the hospital every year.
