Minit Mart, a Bowling Green-based chain that has 34 stores in Kentucky and Tennessee, is going to sell to Travel Centers of America, which has stores in 42 states, in a $67 million deal.

But Denise Alexander, manager at the Minit Mart on Main Street in Cadiz, said there will be very few major changes, and stated that there won’t be any personnel changes at the local level as a result of the sale. In other words, current employees will keep their jobs.

Alexander also said that any changes that will be seen in the store will be for the better.

“I think any changes we see will be improvements. I don’t believe we’ll see any derogatory effects from this. I think anything that happens will be definitely in a positive direction,” said Alexander.
