The Nashville Ballet, under the direction of Paul Vasterling, Artistic Director, will be performing the ballet “Anne Frank” on Thursday, March 20, at 6 p.m. in the Trigg County High School Gymnasium.

This event is free to the public and is sponsored by Mr. Eldon Pontius, Retired Captain USMC. Dr. Clark Blatteis will share his story after the performance. Seven-year-old Clark and his parents were among the 937 refugees who sailed on the ship St. Louis to Cuba in May 1939 to escape Nazi persecution. It is a story you do not want to miss.

Trigg County High and Middle School students will have the honor of seeing the ballet during the day on March 20. Speaking after the morning ballet will be Frances Cutler-Huff. Ms. Culter-Huff was a hidden child born in France amid the turmoil of the German invasion. Her story is one of living in constant danger and having the will to survive.
