Trigg County High School’s softball team improved its record to 3-4 with wins over Christian Fellowship and Webster County last week.

Thursday, the Lady Wildcats topped CFS 12-2 in six innings. Trigg fell behind 2-1 after the top of the second inning but scored four times in the bottom of the frame and added three in the third and four in the sixth.

Gracie Dixon pitched a complete game for Trigg and was one of five Lady ‘Cats with three hits, along with Alexa Agosto, Te Stewart, Emily Crowe and Autumn Durham. Agosto and Alison Russell each had home runs.

Saturday, Trigg scored two runs in the first and second innings en route to a 5-2 win over Webster County. Russell pitched a complete game and had a pair of hits for the Lady ‘Cats, and Agosto reached base four times and scored three runs.
