“Heritage Bank has, for many years, based our banking philosophy on the idea that we’re more than just bankers, we’re also friends and neighbors. That goes beyond the walls of each of our banking locations to the people who make each community a unique place to live and work,” said John Peck, Heritage Bank CEO. “That’s also one of the reasons we choose someone in each of our market communities to be honored as part of our scholarship award program.”

The Trigg County honoree for 2014 is Beth Mann.

Beth Mann serves in numerous roles within her community. Mann worked ten years for TV43 in Hopkinsville and subsequently has been the Group General Manager for WKDZ/WHVO since 1994. Mann’s greatest career achievement was in 2013 when she won both the Marconi and Crystal awards in the same year. This was the first time this achievement was made by a small market radio station.
