Henry Pennington passed away following a long illness at 6:55 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014, at his home.
Henry Pennington was born on Dec. 9, 1939 in Keokuk, Iowa, to Henry Norris Pennington and Daisy May Albertsons Pennington.
Henry was of the Baptist faith and was a United States Army veteran. He had worked in retail and previously owned and operated the Alibi Club in Hopkinsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Mickey Lee Pennington.
Henry Pennington is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Ann Pennington of Cadiz; four brothers, Roy William Pennington of Vancouver, Wash., David Eugene Pennington of Alexandria, Mo., Roger Dean Pennington of Quincy, Ill. and Tracy Lee Pennington of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Angel May Pennington, of Portland, Ore.; one son, Ricky Norris Pennington; one daughter, Misty Ann Pennington of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Scott Lee Beard, Dillon Jay Beard, Julia Lee Pennington and Ricky Norris Pennington, II; and two great-grandchildren, Haydon Beard and Eli Beard.
