Trigg County High School’s fishing team competed Saturday in the Marshall County Invitational.

Trigg County High School’s bass fishing team participated Saturday in the Marshall County Invitational on Kentucky Lake at Kenlake Marina.

Drake Oliver and Douglas Colson teams to take second place out of 28 boats in the event, catching five fish for a total of 19.1 pounds. Austin Greene and Skylar Pool finished third with five fish for 17.7 pounds, and Hunter Allen and Jacob Green teamed to catch two fish for 7.5 pounds.

Trigg will comepte Saturday in the 1st Region Championship on Lake Barkley at the Kuttawa Ramp. The KHSAA State Tournament is scheduled for April 25-26 on Kentucky Lake at the Kentucky Dam Marina.
