TRACK AND FIELD: Two from Trigg in top 3 of long jump at Hoptown

Trigg County High School’s track team recorded four top-five finishes and several in the top 10 Saturday at the Hopkinsville Invitational.

Trigg’s best performances came in the boys long jump, where Jayven Jones (20 feet, 5 inches) finished second and Raekwon Stubblefield (20-3.5) finished third. Christian County’s Shaquan Nicholas finished first (21-0.75).

Jones also finished fourth in the triple jump (41-10.75) and fourth in the shot put (37-9).

Other Trigg boys results include:

100-meter dash: Stubblefield, seventh, :12.15; Jones, 13th, :12.6; Colton Livingston, 21st, :13.49; Devonte Turner, 23rd, :15.19;

110-meter hurdles: Ryan Gallogly, seventh, :21.13;

1600-meter run: Matthew Chinn, 13th, 5:28.2; Austin Pugh, 15th, 5:32.6; Ethan Dossett, 17th, 5:34.2.
