Trigg County High School’s softball team lost a pair of games last week, dropping the Lady Wildcats’ record to 3-12 on the season.

Thursday, Trigg fell 11-7 at Hopkinsville. The Lady ‘Cats led 4-3 in the third inning and 7-4 in the fifth, but the Lady Tigers scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth and three insurance runs in the sixth to put the game away.

Gracie Dixon pitched a complete game in the loss, and Emily Crowe, one of two Lady ‘Cats to hit a home run in the game, drove in three runs. Alison Russell hit the other homer and drove in a pair of runs.

Friday, Trigg totaled seven hits but struggled to score in a 16-1 loss to Hopkins County Central.

Arianna Brown had two of the hits, including a double, and Autumn Durham drove in Dixon for Trigg’s only run.

Trigg was scheduled for 5th District action at Livingston Central on Tuesday.
