Brien Dossett has signed to continue his basketball career at Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga.

Dossett, a senior at Trigg County High School, made his decision official during a ceremony Thursday at TCHS.

“I know how much it means to Brien and his family,” Trigg head coach Payton Croft said. “There’s not a better feeling in the world.”

Croft noted that Dossett is as dedicated in the classroom as he is on the basketball court.

“He’s continuing his academic journey as well as his athletic journey,” Croft said. “I preach academics first to my players, and there’s a reason. No matter how good Brien is athletically, he wouldn’t be attending Berry College on athletics alone. He had to have the academics to get in, and he’s done that.”
