Trigg County High School’s baseball team split its first 5th District games of the season, losing 3-2 Friday at Crittenden County and winning 13-3 Monday at Lyon County.

Drake Oliver pitched a complete game in Monday’s win, while Tyler Allen went the distance in Friday’s walk-off loss to the Rockets.

Trigg also lost a doubleheader to Union County on Saturday (8-1 and 12-0) and won 5-2 at Stewart County, Tenn. on Thursday. Trigg totaled four hits in two games against Union, but the ‘Cats scored twice in the second and three in the third at Stewart and kept them in check from the mound.

The Wildcats were set to play Tuesday at district foe Livingston Central (results unavailable at press time) before hosting the Cardinals on Wednesday. Trigg will host Madisonville-North Hopkins on Thursday before playing Monday at Crittenden and Tuesday at Christian County.
