The Wildcats host district foe Lyon County on Thursday, and Crittenden plays Friday at Livingston.
Trigg is currently 12-9 overall after picking up three wins last week – 12-4 over Madisonville-North Hopkins and back-to-back victories over Livingston, 4-1 last Wednesday and 14-12 last Tuesday.
Trigg’s bats broke open a close game in the middle innings Thursday. Entering the bottom of the third with a 3-2 lead, the ‘Cats plated three in the third and five in the fourth. Austin Calhoun led the way at the plate with a pair of hits and five runs batted in, while Tyler Allen doubled and had two RBIs and Tyler Estes had four hits (including two doubles) and four runs scored.
