Trigg County High School’s softball team picked up its fourth win of the season in between a pair of losses.

Friday, the Lady Wildcats topped Fort Campbell 11-6, scoring seven runs in the first inning and cruising the rest of the way.

Gracie Dixon picked up the win, pitching a complete game and striking out eight. She also went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Addison Rogers led the Lady ‘Cats at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double and three runs scored.

Thursday, Dawson Springs scored a single run in the third inning, and Trigg had five runners in scoring position in the game but couldn’t score in a 1-0 loss. Alison Russell pitched a complete game.

Monday, Trigg lost 13-0 to 5th District leader Livingston Central. Alexa Agosto hit a leadoff single for the Lady ‘Cats’ only hit. Russell and Dixon traded pitching duties, with Russell starting, Dixon pitching the second and third innings and Russell returning for the rest of the game.
