Funeral services for Kathryn “Kathie” Manzer, 63, of Cadiz, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Cadiz. Father Babu Joseph will officiate. Eulogies will be given by Joel and Steve Manzer. Burial will follow in the East End Cemetery in Cadiz. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at King’s Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathryn Manzer passed away following a long illness at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at her home in Cadiz.

Kathryn was born on May 22, 1950, in Warsaw, N.Y., to Theodore Benham and Jean Benham.

She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Kathryn worked on Ft. Campbell as a social worker. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

Kathryn was preceded in death by her mother Jean Benham.

She is survived by her father Theodore Benham of Woodland Hills, Calif.; two sisters, Deborah Benham of Mountain View, Calif. and Julia Benham of Tuscon, Ariz.; two sons, Joel Manzer of Virginia Beach, Va. and Steve Manzer of Cadiz; and four grandchildren, Jonathan Manzer of Virginia Beach, Va., and Nolan, Madeleine and Margaret Manzer, all of Cadiz.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joel Manzer, Steve Manzer, Darryl Manzer, John McDonough, Dale Ashby and Mike Sandbrink. Music will be provided by Angela Thome, organist and Oscar Nicanor, flutist.
