Jaycie Sittig will continue her soccer career at Georgetown College.

Sittig, a Trigg County High School senior, signed with the Lexington-area school during a ceremony last Monday at TCHS.

Sittig said her decision was between Georgetown, St. Catherine College and Brescia University in Owensboro and that she felt more at home at Georgetown.

“I really liked the campus and the coach,” Sittig said. “I spent time with my teammates, and it was really fun.”

Sittig said she looks forward to earning playing time as soon as she can get it.

“The coach said she could tell there was something about me and she wanted me on the team,” Sittig said. “I will have to prove myself over the summer and get stronger.”
