Ronald Lee Hall, 81, of Cadiz, passed away of natural causes at 9:32 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at his home in Cadiz. No services were held. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Ronald Hall was born on March 30, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., to William Hall and Elizabeth McMann Hall.

Ronald was a retired journeyman for Local 130 Plumbers Union in Chicago, Ill. He was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Helping Hands and RSVP. He was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother William Hall; and two sisters, Beverly Burkhart and Anne Hall.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Hall of Cadiz; son Michael Ronald Hall (and wife Cindy) of Algonquin, Ill.; two daughters, Robin Ashby (and husband Richard) of Hebron, Ind., and Gayleen M. Hume (and husband David) of Stickney, Ill.; four grandchildren, Rick Ashby (and wife Miranda), Elizabeth Ashby, Don Metz, Ron Lee Metz (and wife Ashley); and five great-grandchildren, Emmalee, Isabella, Trey, Arain and Mason.
