Memorial services for Robert “Bob” Wells, 81, of Cadiz, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Revs. Harrell Riley and Anthony Jolly will officiate. Burial will follow at the East End Cemetery in Cadiz. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert Wells passed away of natural causes at 10:25 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.

He was born on Aug. 17, 1932, in Morganfield to Walter Clayton Wells and Virginia West Wells.

He was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church. He was a retired engineer for the federal government. Robert was also a United States Air Force veteran having served in the Korean War.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Alma Wells of Cadiz; son Robert Clayton and Tina Wells of Georgia; two daughters, Rebecca Balais of California and Robin and Tim Hall of Arizona; step-son, Joey and Stephanie Doom of Lexington; five grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and 18 great-grandchildren.

Music will be provided by Clarissa King, pianist.
