Former Trigg County linebacker/quarterback Andrew Stewart has been recognized as a member of the 2014 All-Commonwealth Team.

Stewart, a 2011 TCHS grad and current linebacker at Kentucky Christian University, was one of 51 college football players to earn the honor. In it’s fourth year, the All-Commonwealth Team is an annual achievement through the Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame which honors players at state colleges and universities who distinguish themselves on and off the field.

Stewart has earned several honors while at KCU, including being named the team’s defensive most valuable player, earning Mid-South Conference and NAIA Player of the Week and All-NCCAA First Team Defense Team honors, nominated for the Cliff Harris Award, named to the NFL “To Watch” List and completing workouts for scouts from the Tennessee Titans and Detroit Lions.
