The fiscal health of rural hospitals will be the subject of 10 public hearings Edelen is hosting this summer across the state. One of those meetings will be held at the Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 31.

Stephanie Hoelsher, media contact for Edelen’s office, said that it’s difficult to say at the moment what could be done to save small hospitals in crisis, but speculated that it could involve legislative action or changes that Governor Steve Beshear makes.
