Cadiz hosted its Military Appreciation Day on Saturday.

Event organizers Bennai Craighead and Christian Roller, who own Wildflower Designs, said it was a free public event to honor the military.

The event included music, inflatables, games, sidewalk chalk, martial arts demonstrations, magic shows, food and a movie at dusk. And it stretched from the Farmers Market on Main Street to West Cadiz Park.

There was variety of music played, including the Fort Campbell Army Band.

The event was sponsored by the Cadiz-Trigg County Tourist Commission, Wildflower Designs, Just Veterans Construction, The Blue Heron, FireFly Designs, the Futrell House, Bank of Cadiz, Lakeland Jamboree, Cadiz Hardware and others.
