The Kentucky State Fair is once again open, and several Trigg County 4-H members are displaying the work at Cloverville, the 4-H exhibit area.

Like in previous State Fairs, about 30 Trigg County 4-H members are competing in several categories this year, said Trigg County 4-H Extension Agent Janeen Tramble.

“We had several who sent exhibits, which they are on display at what we call Cloverville for the 10 days of the State Fair,” Tramble said. “We have things from quilts to arts and crafts to some home environment-type things, some pictures. We’ve got a good variety.

On Thursday, 17 Trigg County 4-H members displayed country hams. Tramble said that at this contest, they not only display country hams, they give speeches about their hams as well. On Friday and Saturday, six Trigg County 4-H members had goats on display.
