Trigg County High School’s volleyball team won three of five matches and was the runner-up Saturday in Livingston Central’s Cardinal Classic.

The Lady Wildcats earned wins over Union County (2-0; 21-13, 21-13), Crittenden County (2-0; 21-15, 22-20) and St. Mary (2-1; 18-21, 21-8, 15-7). Their losses were both 2-0 against the host Lady Cardinals (21-16, 21-11; 25-17, 25-21).

Four Trigg players were named to the All-Tournament Team – Katie Jo Walker, Hannah Wright, Lexi Wright and Lauren Oliver.

Walker finished the tournament with 18 aces. Oliver had seven kills, followed by Hannah Wright with six and Nyree Wilson with five. Lexi Wright led with 18 assists, and Julia Pennington had 11 digs.
